Volkswagen Financial Services and Zurich Seguros appoint new leaders in Brazil
Volkswagen Financial Services announced Mariana Paschoal as the new Managing Director for Brazil and Chief Financial Officer for South America. Paschoal, who has more than 25 years of experience within the VW Group, previously held senior finance roles in Mexico, Portugal and the company’s global risk unit in Germany. She will also join the board of LM Mobilidade, the group’s fleet‑management subsidiary. In her statement, Paschoal said returning to Brazil to lead the operation was “a very important step” and that her priority would be to connect global expertise with local needs, focusing on operational efficiency, technological innovation and talent development.
Zurich Seguros promoted Sven Feistel to Executive Director of Corporate Insurance in Brazil. Feistel, formerly the CFO of the insurer, brings over 20 years of insurance experience, including roles in underwriting, strategy and technology, and most recently served as Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Ecuador. He said his focus will be on strengthening Zurich’s corporate insurance offering and delivering relevant solutions for clients and brokers. The move aligns with Zurich’s strategy of developing internal talent and expanding its corporate‑insurance business in the Brazilian market.
