Volkswagen ID. Buzz receives new camping and off-road upgrades
The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is receiving new specialized upgrades designed to enhance its utility for both camping and off-road driving.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced a ‘Good Night’ package aimed at casual campers. This kit transforms the electric vehicle into a two-person mini-camper by including a bed frame, a foldable mattress (2.0 m x 1.2 m), window tinting, a table, two chairs, and ventilation grilles. The package also features a new software mode that allows for continuous climate control for up to 48 hours and utilizes the vehicle-to-load (V2L) function to provide up to 2000 watts of continuous power for external electrical devices.
Additionally, the German company Seikel has developed an off-road enhancement kit for the ID. Buzz. To improve the vehicle's capability on unpaved tracks, the kit includes KW shock absorbers, Eibach springs, BFGoodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires on 20-inch rims, and 5 mm aluminum underbody protection plates for the front and rear axles and radiator. These modifications increase the ground clearance by 3 cm.
