Volkswagen introduces the electric ID. Polo
Volkswagen has introduced the seventh generation of the Polo, the ID. Polo, marking the model's transition to fully electric mobility. The new vehicle maintains a compact length of just over 4 meters but features an increased wheelbase of 2,600 mm to provide more interior space and improved legroom for rear passengers. It offers a practical trunk capacity of 441 liters.
The interior design combines digital elements, such as a 10.25-inch digital dashboard and a 13-inch infotainment screen, with the return of physical buttons for improved ergonomics. An optional retro digital cockpit display inspired by the Golf 1 is also available.
Performance options include motors ranging from 85 kW to 166 kW (GTI version) and two battery sizes: 37 kWh and 52 kWh. These configurations provide a maximum WLTP range of up to 452 kilometers. DC fast charging is available starting from the Trend base version. In Belgium, the vehicle is positioned to benefit from 100% tax deductibility for electric company cars through 2026.
