Volkswagen launches high‑power ID Unyx 09 EV for China

Volkswagen is expanding its electric‑vehicle lineup in China with the new ID. Unyx 09, a fully electric sedan unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show. The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Technology released full specifications: a rear‑wheel‑drive version producing 313 hp and an all‑wheel‑drive version adding a 190 hp front motor for a combined 503 hp, both limited to 200 km/h. The cars use LFP batteries supplied by CATL, with capacities of either 82 kWh or 95 kWh, and measure about 5.08 m long, 1.98 m wide, and weigh between 2.2 t and 2.3 t, making them larger than the European ID.7.
