Volkswagen launches ID. Polo electric hatchback in the Czech Republic

Volkswagen has introduced the ID. Polo electric hatchback to the Czech market. The entry‑level model is priced from 619,000 Czech crowns (≈ 24,000 USD), with a slightly higher figure of 619,900 CZK reported by some portals. The launch includes a limited‑run “Launch Edition” for the first 50 buyers, offering a richer equipment package and discounts. Two battery options are available: a 37 kWh pack paired with a 99 kW motor, and a 52 kWh pack with a 155 kW motor. Higher‑spec “Style” variants start at 899,000 CZK and are offered only with the larger battery and more powerful drivetrain.

Standard‑trim models will be released after the limited editions sell out, with a base “Trend” version at 619,000 CZK, a “Life” version ranging from 712,000 CZK to 829,000 CZK depending on power and battery size, and a top‑of‑range “Style” starting at 917,000 CZK. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, digital instrument display, adaptive cruise control, and a 12.9‑inch infotainment screen. First customer deliveries to the Czech Republic are expected in autumn 2024.
