Volkswagen is experiencing significant demand for its new all-electric ID. Polo, with over 30,000 orders recorded across Europe. This high interest has led to widespread sell-outs and delivery wait times of up to ten months in certain markets.

The ID. Polo, built on the MEB+ platform, offers various configurations, including a 37 kWh LFP battery and a larger 52 kWh NMC battery, providing ranges between approximately 304 km and 454 km. The model features a redesigned interior with a mix of modern digital displays and a return to more physical controls to improve usability.

In addition to the ID. Polo, Volkswagen is updating its IQ. DRIVE driver-assistance suite for 2027 models, including the Atlas, Golf, ID. Buzz, and Tiguan. These upgrades introduce features such as driver-initiated lane changes via Travel Assist and Emergency Assist Plus, which can guide an unresponsive vehicle toward the shoulder and bring it to a safe stop.
