Volkswagen launches limited‑edition Tiguan Edition 20 to mark 20‑year anniversary
Volkswagen is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Tiguan SUV with a special trim called Tiguan Edition 20. The edition is based on the Tiguan Life specification and adds exclusive design cues, most notably a new "Maple Red Metallic" paint exclusive to this model. Exterior upgrades include black‑finished side‑mirror housings, black window trims, darkened rear glass, 19‑inch Coventry alloy wheels (optional 20‑inch), and markings such as a laser‑engraved "Edition 20" plaque on the B‑pillar.
Inside, the limited edition features illuminated door‑sill strips, red stitching on the dashboard, doors, carpeting and seat upholstery, and a special steering‑wheel insert bearing the anniversary emblem. Mechanically it is identical to standard Tiguan variants, offering all available engines provided they deliver at least 150 hp, including gasoline, diesel, mild‑hybrid and plug‑in‑hybrid powertrains.
Since its launch in 2007, more than nine million Tiguan units have been sold in over 60 countries, making it the best‑selling model in the Volkswagen Group. The Edition 20 is priced from €48,180 in Germany.
