Volkswagen redesigns Atlas interior and refreshes Tiguan for Argentine market

Volkswagen’s design studios in Wolfsburg, Germany, and Puebla, Mexico, have completely reworked the interior of the upcoming 2027 Atlas. The new cabin retains space for up to seven adults while adding premium materials, a distinctive dashboard loop that visually widens the cabin, integrated controls, wireless phone charging for two devices and advanced ambient lighting that varies by trim.

In Argentina, the third‑generation Tiguan returns as a five‑seat, front‑wheel‑drive SUV priced from 77.6 million pesos. It is equipped with a 1.4‑litre turbo engine, a seven‑speed DSG, a 15‑inch infotainment screen, tri‑zone climate control and a suite of driver‑assist features. The model now competes directly with hybrid‑equipped rivals such as the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR‑V, marking Volkswagen’s shift toward a sportier, lower‑cost positioning in the D‑segment.
