Volkswagen rolls out new limited‑edition Amarok pickups in Argentina and Greece

Volkswagen Argentina introduced the Amarok V6 Unlimited, a limited edition of 500 numbered units unveiled at the Rural Expo in Palermo. The model retains the 3.0‑litre V6 turbo‑diesel engine delivering 258 hp and 580 Nm, paired with an eight‑speed automatic and 4Motion all‑wheel drive. Exclusive styling includes black over‑fenders, a darkened grille, oval black side steps, matte‑black rear bumper, unique 20‑inch diamond‑finished wheels and a range of bespoke accessories. Production of the current Amarok generation at the General Pacheco plant will continue through 2024 before a new generation, planned for 2027, adopts a new platform and electrification strategy. The first Unlimited units are slated for dealer delivery in September.

In Greece, Volkswagen promoted the Amarok PanAmericana edition, featuring a 2.4‑litre V6 TDI engine rated at 240 hp and 600 Nm. The model offers enhanced off‑road capability with 4Motion permanent four‑wheel drive, four selectable drive modes, an 80‑cm water‑wading depth and increased ground clearance. It combines rugged performance with SUV‑level comfort and technology, targeting customers seeking a versatile, adventure‑ready pickup.
