Volkswagen ID. Tiguan unveiled with new design and pricing
Volkswagen has officially unveiled the ID. Tiguan, an electric SUV designed to replace the ID. 4 and ID. 5 models. Following its presentation at the Paris Motor Show, pricing and specifications have been released for several European markets, including Finland, Denmark, and Norway.
The new model features a more angular design compared to the ID. 4, incorporating mechanical door handles and a return to physical buttons on the steering wheel and center console to address previous user criticism. Interior upgrades include a larger 15-inch infotainment screen and an optional 12-inch passenger display.
In Finland, the ID. Tiguan lineup includes a base 58 kWh rear-wheel-drive version starting at 48,990 euros, offering a range of 451 km. Higher-end models feature a 77 kWh battery with ranges up to 601 km. All-wheel-drive 4Motion versions are also available, with prices starting from 51,390 euros. While the vehicle offers improved range and technology, some reports note that high equipment costs may make it significantly more expensive than the ID. 4.
