Volkswagen unveils new ID. Polo electric models

Volkswagen is introducing new electric models based on the MEB+ platform, including the ID. Polo, the ID. Cross, and the ID. Polo GTI. These vehicles feature front-wheel drive and battery options of either 37 kWh or 52 kWh.

The standard ID. Polo offers power outputs ranging from 116 to 211 hp, with a WLTP range between 323 and 453 km. Charging from 10% to 80% is estimated to take 24 minutes. Drivers have noted improvements in interior material quality, intuitive central screen controls, and more natural driver assistance systems.

The high-performance ID. Polo GTI is slightly longer than the standard model and is equipped with an adaptive DCC sports chassis, progressive steering, and an electronic differential lock. The GTI version produces 226 hp and 290 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, with a range of approximately 424 km using the larger battery.
