Volkswagen, together with its n+ brand, introduced a new line of premium electric bicycles that bring automotive‑inspired safety technology to micromobility. The flagship models feature the Smart View system – a rear‑view high‑definition camera linked to a handlebar display and radar‑activated blind‑spot alerts that warn riders of approaching vehicles.

Additional safety upgrades include a full‑length LED light strip that serves as a daytime‑running light and changes colour (red for braking, amber for turning), an optional Bluetooth‑connected smart helmet with built‑in LED signalling and an accelerometer capable of automatically sending a crash alert, and smart glasses that overlay navigation and safety information via a heads‑up display. In the United Kingdom the Sport version starts at £3,999, with the helmet and glasses sold separately for £499 each.
