Volkswagen unveils Tiguan EDITION 20 to mark 20‑year anniversary

Volkswagen has introduced the Tiguan EDITION 20, a special model celebrating two decades of the compact SUV. The edition adds exclusive R‑Line exterior elements, a new Maple Red metallic paint, 19‑inch wheels, illuminated “EDITION 20” badge projections and an interior with red stitching, illuminated door‑frame trims and bespoke seat upholstery. It is based on the Life trim level and is offered with the full range of Tiguan powertrains, including gasoline, diesel, mild‑hybrid and plug‑in hybrid options.

The entry‑level price starts at €48,180 for the 1.5 TSI 150 hp version. While the model is first available for order in Germany, it is also relevant for markets such as Mexico, where the Tiguan is produced at Volkswagen’s Puebla plant. Since its launch in 2007, more than nine million Tiguan units have been sold worldwide, and it has been the Group Volkswagen’s best‑selling vehicle since 2017.
