Volkswagen updates Mexican T-Cross with new facelift and mechanics

Volkswagen has introduced a facelift for the T-Cross in Mexico, where the model is marketed as the Taigun. The updated SUV adopts a visual style similar to the Indian version, featuring a larger front air intake, slimmer headlights, a central LED bar, and new 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior has been updated with vertical air vents and a 10-inch multimedia center supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Mechanically, the Mexican Taigun is equipped with a 1.0 turbo engine producing 114 cv and 18.1 kgfm of torque, paired with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Unlike some versions of the T-Cross in Brazil, the Mexican market does not offer the 1.4 TSI engine option.
