Volkswagen updates SUV lineup in Brazil with Taos and Tera MPI

Volkswagen is updating its SUV lineup in Brazil with mechanical improvements to the Taos and promotional pricing for the Tera MPI.

The Volkswagen Taos, a mid-size SUV designed for family use, now features a 250 TSI 1.4 turbo engine producing 150 cv. This model has been updated with an eight-speed automatic transmission to improve driving comfort, efficiency, and gear shifts. The vehicle offers a 498-liter trunk capacity.

Additionally, Volkswagen has announced a discount on the compact SUV Tera MPI (2026 model year). The price has been adjusted from R$ 107,190 to R$ 99,990, provided a used vehicle meeting specific criteria is included in the negotiation. The Tera MPI is equipped with a 1.0 three-cylinder aspirated engine producing 84 cv and a five-speed manual transmission.
