Volkswagen Virtus GT and Renault Kiger receive new Indian variants

Volkswagen has highlighted its Virtus GT, the only sedan the German automaker currently offers in India. The model combines a 1.5‑litre TSI EVO engine with a 7‑speed DSG, a 5‑star Global NCAP safety rating, dual‑tone interior, 10‑inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ambient lighting and an electric sunroof.

Renault India has expanded the Kiger compact SUV range with four new variants, including the Evolution+ trim that adds a smart access card, push‑start/stop, automatic climate control, wireless smartphone mirroring and adjustable driver seat. The turbo‑charged Kiger now starts at Rs 7.89 lakh for the Evolution+ manual, while the top‑spec turbo CVT Emotion is priced at Rs 10.35 lakh, broadening the brand's offering in the sub‑4‑metre SUV segment.
