Volos hit by heavy rainfall and hailstorms

Volos experienced severe weather on Sunday afternoon, characterized by heavy rainfall and hailstorms. The intense precipitation, which began shortly after 4:00 PM, caused significant flooding in several urban areas.

Streets in the Palia and Old Port Authority regions, as well as the intersection of Grigoriou Lambraki and Melounas streets, were transformed into rushing torrents of water. Hail was also reported in the city center. As of the latest reports, no injuries or major structural damages have been documented.
