Volunteers conduct urban cleanup initiatives in Macerata and Foggia

Volunteers in the Italian cities of Macerata and Foggia have conducted local environmental cleanup initiatives to improve urban decorum and community engagement.

In Macerata, volunteers organized a waste collection event along Via Mura Nord, a historic area adjacent to the city's medieval walls. The group focused on removing abandoned waste to enhance the livability and historical value of the site.

In Foggia, the association ‘La Via della Felicità’ led a cleanup of Viale Giotto. Participants, including members of the Comunità Crap Penelope, collected eight bags of micro-waste from the street and surrounding areas. The initiative aimed to encourage responsible environmental behavior and foster community participation.
