Volvo and Farizon launch new trucks in Brazil

Volvo and the Grupo Potencial announced the delivery of 31 FH B100 flex bi‑fuel trucks to a 200‑vehicle fleet in Lapa, Paraná. The FH B100 flex models can run on diesel or pure biodiesel, delivering up to 90% lower CO₂ emissions per kilometre when using biodiesel and offering power outputs of 380‑500 hp and a 2,000 km range.

Chinese‑owned Farizon, represented in Brazil by Grupo Rondon, said it will introduce a 3.5‑tonne semi‑light electric truck between August and September 2026. The company has already sold about 100 vehicles from its first imported lot, including the V6E electric van, and plans to import more than 50 additional units to meet growing demand from logistics operators, e‑commerce firms and other commercial users.
