Volvo and Xiaomi Unveil New Electric SUVs in Italy

Swedish automaker Volvo introduced the EX90 Black Edition in Italy, a seven‑seat fully electric SUV dressed in an all‑black “total black” trim. The model is offered on the Plus and Ultra specifications with prices ranging from €97,700 for the Twin Motor 456 hp version to €107,950 for the Twin Motor Performance 680 hp version.

Chinese tech‑brand Xiaomi previewed its SkyNomad N90, a large 5.28‑metre SUV available with five or seven seats and a hybrid range‑extender system. The vehicle delivers a combined output of 416 hp, an electric‑only range of 505 km (CLTC) and is expected to cost about 200,000 yuan (≈ €26,000). The top‑trim model is slated for a reveal at the Chengdu Auto Show on 21 August.
