Volvo begins EX60 electric SUV deliveries in Europe

Volvo Cars has started delivering its new EX60 electric midsize SUV to customers, beginning with Sweden. The first owners received key‑fob cards and took delivery of the model that promises up to 503 mi (810 km) WLTP range and rapid 400 kW charging that adds about 340 km (211 mi) in ten minutes. Demand for the EX60 exceeded Volvo’s forecasts, prompting the company to accelerate production even before serial manufacturing began.

The EX60 is offered in three powertrain variants: the rear‑wheel‑drive P6 with an 83 kWh battery, the all‑wheel‑drive P10 with a 95 kWh pack, and the top‑spec P12 with a 117 kWh pack. European pricing starts at €54,328 for the base P6, while the US market sees the P6 priced at about $58,400. Volvo plans to expand deliveries to other European markets in the coming weeks and months, signalling a major step in the brand’s shift toward fully electric models.

Company officials, including Chief Commercial Officer Erik Severinson, described the rollout as a key milestone for Volvo and its customers, highlighting the vehicle’s advanced SPA3 platform and 800‑volt architecture as industry‑leading.
