Volvo Cars has officially launched the ES90, a fully electric flagship model, in the Turkish market. The vehicle was introduced during a special event at the Esma Sultan Mansion in Istanbul, attended by various figures from the business, art, and media sectors.
The ES90 is designed to combine the elegance of a sedan with the versatility of a fastback and the spaciousness of an SUV. It features Volvo’s most advanced electric architecture and battery technology to date, including an 800-volt system that supports up to 350 kW DC fast charging. This technology allows the vehicle to gain 285 kilometers of range from just 10 minutes of charging, with a total WLTP range of 696 kilometers.
The Ultra Twin Motor Performance version available in Turkey features a 106 kWh battery, all-wheel drive, 680 horsepower, and 870 Nm of torque. The production of the ES90 models sold in Turkey will take place at Volvo Cars’ manufacturing facility in Malaysia.
