Volvo expands electric SUV lineup with EX90 and EX60 models

Volvo is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the EX90 and EX60 SUV models.

The EX90 T8 is a seven-passenger electric SUV featuring a Twin Motor Performance system delivering 517 hp. It includes a 14.5-inch central infotainment screen with Google integration and a premium 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. While praised for its high-quality Scandinavian interior and comfortable ride, the model faces criticism regarding its starting price of approximately 103,000 euros and a real-world highway range that falls below the official WLTP rating.

The EX60 is a mid-size electric SUV positioned against competitors like the Mercedes GLC and BMW iX3. It utilizes 800-volt technology for faster charging and is equipped with a 95-kWh battery to achieve a range of over 600 kilometers. The P10 AWD version provides 510 hp. Reviewers noted its sleek, rounded design and aerodynamic features, such as sensor-equipped winglets instead of traditional door handles, though some found the interface cumbersome and the pricing high.
