Volvo launches ES90 electric flagship sedan in Brazil
Volvo has officially returned to the sedan segment in Brazil with the launch of the ES90, priced at R$ 659,950. Positioned as the spiritual successor to the discontinued S90, the ES90 serves as the brand's flagship electric model, featuring a fastback-style silhouette and a four-door coupe design.
Technologically, the vehicle is built on the SPA2 architecture and utilizes the Superset technology platform. It is the first Volvo to feature the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin dual processor for advanced driver assistance and software updates. A key innovation is the 800-volt electrical architecture, which improves efficiency and enables high-power charging. The car is equipped with a 106 kWh battery, providing an official Inmetro range of 524 km. When using 350 kW ultra-fast chargers, the vehicle can recover approximately 300 km of range in just 10 minutes.
The ES90 Ultra Twin Motor version features dual electric motors providing 680 hp and 88.7 kgfm of torque, allowing for 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4 seconds. The interior focuses on luxury and technology, including a 14.5-inch vertical multimedia center, massage seats, and a premium 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
