Volvo launches EX30 Cross Country variant as Geely offers ultra‑cheap E5 lease

Volvo has introduced the EX30 Cross Country, a compact electric SUV styled for off‑road use with higher ground clearance, rugged body cladding and dedicated off‑road tyres. The model retains the EX30’s twin‑motor all‑wheel‑drive system and premium interior while adding a roof rack and adventure‑oriented exterior cues.

Geely, the Chinese group that owns Volvo, announced a new leasing programme for its E5 electric SUV in Germany. The vehicle can be ordered now and delivered within two weeks for a monthly payment of €124.58, including a €6,000 state incentive. The E5 offers a 160 kW motor, up to 430 km WLTP range and eight‑year warranty on the car and battery, positioning it as one of the cheapest fully‑equipped electric SUVs on the market.
