Volvo expands EX electric SUV lineup with EX60 launch
Volvo Cars has broadened its EX electric SUV range, adding the EX60 as a flagship model. The EX60, a five‑seat all‑electric SUV built on the new SPA3 platform in Sweden, offers up to 810 kilometres of WLTP range in its top P12 AWD version and can charge from 10 % to 80 % in 16 minutes with a 400 kW fast charger. Seven variants are planned, covering three battery outputs (P12, P10, P6) to address different customer needs. CTC Automotive has begun taking orders, and the first deliveries have started in Europe. The EX line now includes the compact EX30, mid‑size EX40 and EX60, and the larger EX90, all marketed as safe, comfortable, and connected electric SUVs. Volvo reports a 28 % global increase in fully electric sales in December 2025 and forecasts 710,042 total vehicle sales worldwide for the year.
