Spike in violent crimes hits several Latin American cities

A series of violent incidents were reported across multiple Latin American locations. In Argentina, a vehicle collision in Las Breñas left a motorcyclist with a shoulder fracture, while separate armed robberies in San Carlos saw three women threatened and their vehicles stolen. Mexico saw an 18‑year‑old stabbed in Puerto Vallarta and a youth wounded by gunfire during a family dispute in Morelia’s La Carbonera district.

In Colombia, a man died after being stabbed during a street brawl in Panorama Country 1. Bolivia’s Montero district reported a string of daytime home break‑ins, prompting residents to demand more police patrols. In the Yucatán region of Mexico, an elderly man was severely beaten by two relatives, sustaining multiple fractures. A neighbor dispute in Kuwait resulted in two brothers being assaulted, though injuries were not life‑threatening.
