Vrindavan ashram death: Disciple of Premanand Maharaj dies after fall
Police in Vrindavan are investigating the death of Rasik Dulari Sharan (also known as Deepak Lodhi), a 25-year-old disciple of spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj. On September 25, the man died after falling from the fourth floor of the Guru Kripa Kunj Ashram.
Investigators recovered a blood-stained grinder from the deceased's room. A post-mortem examination revealed that the man had sustained injuries to his private parts and died due to excessive blood loss. CCTV footage has been a central part of the probe, reportedly capturing the 11 minutes leading up to the fall, including the moment he moved toward the terrace.
The victim's family has raised concerns regarding the circumstances of the death, noting they were previously denied access to him at the ashram. While police are currently treating the incident as a suspected suicide, they are continuing to examine forensic evidence, mobile phone data, and DVR records to establish the full sequence of events.
