Leaders and representatives from over 30 delegations gathered in Belgrade to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the first Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) conference. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the assembly, emphasizing that the movement remains a vital bastion of multilateralism and a platform for sovereign equality in a changing global order. He noted that many NAM member states continue to respect Serbia's territorial integrity.

During the summit, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud called for increased international solidarity to combat terrorism, geopolitical tensions, and climate change. He also highlighted Somalia's ongoing efforts toward national reconstruction and stability.

Parallel diplomatic activities included bilateral meetings between Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut and officials from India, Mozambique, and Cameroon to discuss cooperation in sectors such as infrastructure, defense, agriculture, and IT. Additionally, Montenegrin officials met with US representatives to discuss the implementation of a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement, which focuses on strategic projects including the modernization of border controls with new scanners and the development of the Adriatic-Ionian corridor.
