Vung Ang Economic Zone undergoes expansion and industrial development

The Vung Ang Economic Zone in Ha Tinh province is entering a new phase of development following administrative restructuring in Ky Anh. Local authorities are managing significant land clearance requirements for 33 projects covering nearly 6,000 hectares, which involves the relocation of over 5,000 households.

New industrial developments are driving regional growth. The Minh Chau Industrial Park, a 300-hectare project by Thinh Vuong Minh Chau Joint Stock Company, is being developed with a focus on green and smart infrastructure. Once fully operational, it is expected to create approximately 30,000 jobs. Additionally, the Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park is operating as an ecological industrial urban model, attracting nearly $400 million in investment from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan to support the domestic textile supply chain.
