Industrial development in Vietnam

Vietnam is undergoing significant industrial expansion through large-scale infrastructure and economic zone developments, particularly in the Ha Tinh region.

Initial developments in the Vung Ang Economic Zone involve administrative restructuring and extensive land clearance for 33 projects covering nearly 6,000 hectares. This phase includes the Minh Chau Industrial Park, which focuses on green and smart infrastructure, and the Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park, which has attracted approximately $400 million in investment from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Subsequent expansion efforts include the DragonIZ Ha Tinh project, a 194.36-hectare modern industrial hub with an investment exceeding 2,265 billion VND. Developed by Thang Long Import-Export Investment JSC (DragonGroup), this project aims to create a modern, green, and smart industrial space by leveraging the strategic East-West economic corridor and the Vung Ang - Son Duong deep-water port system.

Additionally, construction has commenced on the 592-hectare Tan Vien Tech Valley industrial complex in Thinh Minh. Valued at nearly 7,600 billion VND, the project is designed to attract high-tech foreign direct investment (FDI) and provide local employment through integrated infrastructure and urban support projects.
