Wabisabi Games announces HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate for Nintendo Switch 2

Mexican developer Wabisabi Games, in collaboration with Acclaim, has announced HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate, an arcade-style snowboarding game scheduled for release in early 2027. The title was revealed during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase and is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Inspired by classics such as SSX and Jet Grind Radio, the game features a Y2K aesthetic and high-energy gameplay. Players can choose from a diverse cast of riders, including surreal characters like a giant kaiju and a snowboarding taco. The game includes various modes, such as a Challenge mode for high scores, a Race mode for speed, and a Chill mode for relaxed exploration.

Multiplayer options include local split-screen and online matches for up to eight players. A free demo is expected to launch on Steam in November to provide a preview ahead of the full release.
