Waghäusel and Neuberg host children's holiday programs in Germany

On July 31, 2026, FC Olympia Kirrlach took part in the city of Waghäusel's holiday program, opening its facilities to 28 boys and girls aged six to eleven. The day featured football training stations, the chance to earn a DFB trial badge, and a mini‑tournament that emphasized teamwork and enjoyment.

From July 27 to August 7, the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) Main‑Kinzig branch financially supported and organized the Ferienspiele in Neuberg. The event welcomed 31 primary‑school children and offered a range of creative activities such as crafts, knitting, water games and foil‑shaping, alongside meals. Mayor Jörn Schachtner highlighted the involvement of local volunteers, and the program received roughly €5,000 in funding from AWO and a €1,000 donation from Neuberger Dorffeste e.V.
