Waldorf Astoria Hosts Ballroom Tennis Exhibition in New York

On August 27, the Grand Ballroom of New York’s Waldorf Astoria will be transformed into a temporary tennis court for the Ballroom Tennis Invitation. ATP and WTA players Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Leylah Fernandez and Maria Sakkari are scheduled to play two exhibition matches for a paying audience.

Tickets for the evening start at $1,500 and include gourmet food, an open bar with champagne, a meet‑and‑greet with the players and exclusive merchandise. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day, the public can book 90‑minute court sessions for a premium price. The event also launches the Waldorf Astoria Racquet Club, a luxury program offering tennis and padel experiences at Waldorf properties worldwide, and 5 % of net proceeds will be donated to the Big Brothers Big Sisters charity.
