In late July 2026, two leading New York luxury hotels announced high‑end tennis experiences for the summer. The Ritz‑Carlton introduced the “Ace the City” package, offering a penthouse stay, private transport to the Hudson River Tennis Club, lessons with former pro Noah Rubin, and tournament‑themed amenities. Simultaneously, Waldorf Astoria revealed that its historic Grand Ballroom would be converted into a full‑size tennis court for a one‑night exhibition on August 27, featuring ATP and WTA players such as Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Leylah Fernandez and Maria Sakkari, and bundling tickets with overnight stays, spa treatments and curated dining as part of its new Racquet Club platform.

A week later, Waldorf Astoria provided further details on the ballroom event. Ticket prices start at $1,500 and include gourmet food, an open champagne bar, player meet‑and‑greets and exclusive merchandise. The venue will also be open for 90‑minute public court sessions during the day.
