Walt Disney World expands mobile food ordering options

Walt Disney World is expanding its mobile food ordering capabilities within the My Disney Experience app. The Nomad Lounge To Go at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been added as a new mobile order location, though the feature currently leads to an error screen when attempting to begin an order. An official launch date for this specific location has not been announced.

In addition to new locations, Disney has previously implemented location-based restrictions for mobile ordering at certain popular hotel restaurants. During peak periods, such as around the July 4th holiday, guests were required to be within a specific physical distance of restaurants like Gasparilla Island Grill, Capt. Cook’s, Contempo Cafe, and Geyser Point to successfully place an order.
