Warner Bros. Discovery announced a worldwide "Back to Hogwarts 2026" program to mark the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter franchise. All eight films will be re‑released in theatres from 27 August to 3 September 2026, with the first film featuring a 12‑minute previously unseen behind‑the‑scenes segment.

The campaign includes fan events in major cities such as London, Paris (Versailles), Venice, Madrid, Berlin, Sydney, Beijing and Tokyo, as well as special screenings at Universal Studios Potter parks and Warner Bros. Studio Tours. A new HBO Max original Harry Potter series will also be previewed during the celebrations.
