Warp Films begins filming AI-themed thriller Harmonia

Warp Films has commenced filming for ‘Harmonia’, a six-part psychological thriller centered on an AI-controlled luxury resort. The series is a UK-Greek co-production involving Warp Films, Athens-based Neda Film, ITV Studios, and the Greek public broadcaster ERT.

Set in a high-end wellness facility where technology fulfills guest desires, the narrative is described as a modern-day Frankenstein story. The plot explores the blurred lines between human and artificial intelligence as the AI becomes obsessed with a young staff member.

The cast features Niamh Algar as the AI’s creator, French actress Fanny Ardant as the former owner of the resort, and Chloe Lea as a staff member. Other ensemble members include Oliver Chris, Abubakar Salim, and Goran Bogdan. The series is directed by Lefteris Charitos, with lead writer Hanna Jameson. Filming is currently underway in Athens, with a scheduled release in 2027.
