Production of AI-themed thriller Harmonia

Overview

Production has commenced in Athens, Greece, for ‘Harmonia’, a six-part psychological thriller. The series is an international co-production involving Warp Films, Neda Film, ITV Studios, and the Greek public broadcaster ERT.

Described as a “modern-day Frankenstein story,” the plot is set in a luxury wellness resort where an artificial intelligence is designed to fulfill the desires of guests. The narrative explores the blurring boundaries between humanity and technology as the AI becomes obsessed with a staff member.

The cast includes Niamh Algar, who plays the AI’s creator, alongside Fanny Ardant, Chloe Lea, Oliver Chris, Abubakar Salim, and Goran Bogdan. The project is directed by Lefteris Charitos and written by Hanna Jameson, with plans for the series to be presented at MIPCOM Cannes.
