Warsaw and Bytom Host Summer Tango Festivals
On Sunday afternoon the former Warsaw Central Station will be transformed into a free‑entry tango arena. The event features live performances by the Small Dancing Orchestra, DJ sets, retro costume contests and dancing sessions starting at 17:00 and 18:10.
In Bytom, the Theatre of Dance and Movement Rozbark will present a "Tribute to Juan D'Arienzo" on 24 July. Uruguayan artists Stefanía Colina and Juan Martín Carrara will direct the show, accompanied by Polish dancers, followed by a milonga where attendees can dance the Argentine tango together. Both festivals celebrate the historic popularity of tango in Poland and invite locals and visitors to experience the music and dance of the genre.
