Warsaw road services log 5,625 June interventions as Puławska street upgrades begin

The Warsaw City Road Service (Pogotowie Drogowe) recorded 5,625 interventions in June 2026, responding to both major failures and minor faults. The city’s 19‑115 reporting system received 3,453 citizen and agency reports, leading crews to repair road surfaces using 625 kg of bitumen, eliminate 745 potential hazards, and conduct 93 high‑risk operations to protect traffic flow.

Meanwhile, extensive modernization of traffic signals on Puławska Street is underway and scheduled to continue until mid‑August. Night‑time tram services are suspended while daytime lane closures and left‑turn bans at key intersections (Żywnego, Malczewskiego, Odyńca) create temporary delays. Drivers are advised to plan routes in advance and use alternative streets to avoid congestion. The upgrades aim to improve safety and traffic efficiency for motorists and pedestrians once completed.
