Warsaw traffic restrictions planned for Saska Kępa during football match
Traffic restrictions will be implemented in the Saska Kępa district of Warsaw this Friday evening due to a national football match at PGE Narodowy. From 18:30 to 20:45, vehicle access to the area will be limited to residents with SK identification, taxis, motorcycles, and public transit buses.
Drivers will be required to bypass several major streets, including Aleja Poniatowskiego, Aleja Waszyngtona, Międzynarodowa, Aleja Stanów Zjednoczonych, Wał Miedzeszyński, Afrykańska, and Bora-Komorowskiego. To ensure safety and traffic flow, police may temporarily close sections of Sokola, Zamoście, and Zamoyskiego streets.
Following the match, around 22:30, there is a possibility of temporary closures on Aleja Zieleniecka, Poniatowski Bridge, and the viaduct between Rondo Waszyngtona and Rondo de Gaulle’a, particularly if large crowds of fans return to the city center on foot. Authorities recommend using Warsaw Public Transport to reach the stadium.
