Water supply cuts affect Villenauxe-la-Grande and Saint‑André in France

On 24 June 2026, the municipality of Villenauxe‑la‑Grande announced a temporary water outage from 06:00 to 12:00 while urgent works are carried out on the water network. Residents were asked to anticipate the interruption, especially during the heat wave.

The same day, a technical failure forced Cise Réunion to halt water distribution in several districts of Saint‑André, Réunion, from 21:00 on 23 June until 05:00 on 24 June. Pressure drops were reported throughout the day, and authorities advised people not to drink the tap water until it is boiled for at least three minutes or replaced with bottled water.
