Water supply disrupted in Romanian towns Aiud and Constanța
In the town of Aiud, the local water utility CTTA SA – Aiud branch announced a network failure that halted tap water to several apartment blocks on Axente Sever Street (blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 9). The outage began on Saturday morning and residents were left without drinking water.
In the coastal city of Constanța, RAJA SA intervened after a pipe burst near the Hotel Malibu in the Pescărie area. The break forced a temporary suspension of water to streets Căiuți, Unirii, Pescarilor, the Pescărie neighbourhood and the Faleză Nord district. Officials said supply would resume around 17:00, though water may appear turbid or discoloured until it clears.
Both incidents illustrate localized infrastructure problems affecting daily life for thousands of residents in western and southeastern Romania.
