WBCHSE postpones Class 12 exams due to West Bengal by-elections

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has postponed the Class 12 third-semester examinations by one week. The rescheduling is due to by-elections scheduled for October 6 in the Nandigram and Rejinagar assembly constituencies.

The postponement aims to ensure the smooth conduct of both the examinations and the polling process. According to an official notification, the revised schedule is as follows:

• The exam originally set for October 5 will now be held on October 12. • The exam originally set for October 6 will now be held on October 13. • The exam originally set for October 7 will now be held on October 14.

All rescheduled exams are set to take place during the 11:00 am to 12:30 pm time slot.
