Weather alerts issued for fog and rain in Egypt and Palestine

Varied autumn weather conditions are expected across Egypt and Palestine. In Egypt, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority forecasts warm daytime temperatures in the north, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt, while southern Upper Egypt will experience heat. Temperatures in Greater Cairo are expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. There are warnings regarding morning fog from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM on roads leading to northern areas, Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may reduce visibility.

Light to moderate rainfall is possible in some Egyptian regions, including the northern coasts, the Suez Gulf, and parts of Sinai, with a 30% chance of occurrence. There is also a lower chance of light rain in parts of Greater Cairo and the southern Delta.

In Palestine, the Meteorological Department predicts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with temperatures remaining approximately 3°C below the annual average. Nighttime conditions are expected to be cold in mountainous areas and relatively cool elsewhere. Residents have been warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog formation.
