Germany weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain

The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings for unsettled weather across western and southern Germany. While the weekend may offer periods of sun and dry spells in regions like Baden-Württemberg, significant weather shifts are expected as the new week begins.

Starting Monday, heavy thunderstorms, strong wind gusts, and heavy rain are forecasted for North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland. These storms may bring risks of hail and localized heavy rainfall.

In the north, weather is expected to remain more changeable with frequent showers. In contrast, southern regions may see a return to warmer, more stable conditions later in the week, with temperatures potentially reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius in some areas.
