Iran weather forecast predicts thunderstorms and dust storms
Meteorological reports for Iran indicate widespread weather instability, including thunderstorms, heavy winds, and dust storms across various regions.
In northern and northwestern areas, including West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, and the Caspian Sea coasts, cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms are expected. The Alborz Mountains and parts of North Khorasan are also subject to these conditions. In the central and southern regions, specifically Kerman and southern Sistan and Baluchestan, afternoon and evening thunderstorms and temporary strong winds are predicted.
Dust storms and reduced air quality are anticipated in the northeast, east, southeast, and central parts of the country, as well as along the southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains. In Bushehr, continued winds are expected to cause waves in the Persian Gulf, with potential dust in the province. Tehran is forecasted to have clear skies with increasing winds in the afternoons.
Temperature extremes vary, with Ahvaz reaching 44 degrees Celsius and Shahrekord recorded as the coolest at 5 degrees Celsius.
