Weather patterns show unseasonable warmth in France and Tunisia

France is experiencing unseasonably mild autumn weather, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms. While northern regions see alternating sun and clouds, the southern half faces more instability. Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to develop from the southwest toward the Massif Central and Mediterranean regions. Despite cool mornings due to longer nights, afternoon temperatures are expected to reach between 21°C and 27°C, particularly in Corsica.

In Tunisia, summer-like conditions are persisting in early October, though a shift toward autumnal weather is anticipated. Climatologist Amer Bahba indicates that a drop in atmospheric pressure between October 5 and 19 could bring increased cloud cover and rain to much of the northern and central regions. This transition may include a drop in temperatures to seasonal levels, especially in western mountainous areas. Some instability and localized thunderstorms have already been observed in western regions such as Kasserine and Gafsa.
