West Bank sees surge in Israeli raids and settler attacks

West Bank raids Israeli military operations settler violence Palestinian arrests Gaza airstrikes

The West Bank has experienced a surge in Israeli military operations and settler activity. Israeli forces conducted widespread raids across several governorates, including Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, and Hebron, resulting in numerous arrests and confrontations. In Tubas and Tayasir, eleven people were treated for gas inhalation following military incursions.

Simultaneously, Israeli settlers have carried out multiple attacks against Palestinian civilians and property. Reported incidents include the burning of vehicles near Nablus, the theft of property near Abu Falah, and attacks on agricultural lands in Bethlehem. In the village of Mugayyir, the military has closed both the eastern and western entrances, effectively isolating the community.

In the Gaza Strip, an Israeli military and Shin Bet operation in Maghazi targeted a Hamas weapons production site. The strike killed Ismail Abu Ful, an official identified as being responsible for producing IEDs and anti-armor missiles. The operation also resulted in civilian casualties, including children, in nearby areas.
